The stretch of Wilmington Avenue between 13th East and Highland Drive was largely unoccupied, representing a vacancy in one of the most rapidly growing neighborhoods in Salt Lake City. Woodbury Corporation has since transformed this desolate parcel into desirable residential and office space.

Phase I construction began, clearing the property to make way for residential units, shopping and dining, and a large outdoor patio with immediate access to walking and biking trails and nearby Sugar House Park.

Completion of Phase I and Phase II.

Springhill Suites by Marriott opened Sugar House in 2019. The 125 Suite hotel is located in a vibrant walkable neighborhood, surrounded by local restaurants, theaters, shops and Sugar House Park.  The 110-acre park is considered a “crown jewel” among regional parks in the Salt Lake Valley. The hotel is just seven miles from downtown and 15 minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport. It offers offers convenient access to Temple Square, the Utah State Capitol, Westminster College and University Utah, multiple area hospitals, and Salt Lake City and Park City area ski resorts.
