Magic Valley Mall Welcomes Texas Roadhouse

March 1, 2021
  • Anticipated to bring nearly 200 jobs to the community
  • The new building features custom murals, and a separate to-go area for take out

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (March 1, 2021) — Woodbury Corporation, a full-service real estate management and development company, today announced the opening of Texas Roadhouse at Magic Valley Mall. Located on Poleline Road, next to the Olive Garden, this will be the first Texas Roadhouse in the market. Known for its selection of meats and home baked bread, Texas Roadhouse has over 600 restaurants across the country, and 28 locations internationally.

“We are so excited to announce the long-anticipated opening of Texas Roadhouse,” said Randy Woodbury, president and CEO of Woodbury Corporation. “The restaurant has been a topic of conversation for many years among local residents, and despite some delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all parties worked together to bring this recognized establishment to the community.”

The new building is over 7,000 square feet and features a specifically designed carry-out section at the front to accommodate the popularity and convenience of take-away. The space is separate from the main entrance of the restaurant, and has its own entrance to the building and an order and pick-up window.

The new restaurant will feature six custom murals. One is dedicated to local Native Americans, the other five represent Twin Falls area attractions.

“We are very excited about bringing our legendary food and service to Twin Falls”, said Travis Doster, vice president of communications at Texas Roadhouse. “Besides our made-from-scratch food, one of the things that really separates Texas Roadhouse is our managing partner model.  The managing partner has ownership in the restaurant so they run the businesses like an owner and are very invested and engaged in the local community. We want every Texas Roadhouse to be considered a local hometown restaurant.”

For the safety of guests and staff, there are plastic dividers between booths and all local and national health guidelines will be followed. Seating is arranged to accommodate 6 feet of distance between parties, and there are designated sanitation stations and electrostatic air purification equipment throughout. All employees are required to do a wellness check at the beginning of each shift and will always be wearing face masks. Doster estimated the restaurant will hire nearly 200 part-time and full-time employees from the community.
