SALT LAKE CITY – (October) 24, 2019 – Marriott International announced today that the SpringHill Suites by Marriott in the Sugar House area of Salt Lake City, Utah opened on October 24. The 125-suite hotel, located at 2206 South 1300 East, will operate as a Marriott franchise owned by Wilmington Hotel, LLC, whose managing partners are the principals of Woodbury Corporation, Colmena Group, and Dees, Inc. The hotel will be managed by Woodbury Corporation of Salt Lake City, Utah.


The SpringHill Suites Salt Lake City Sugar House is located in a vibrant, walkable neighborhood of Salt Lake City, surrounded by local restaurants, theaters, shops, and Sugar House Park, a 110-acre park which is considered a “crown jewel” among regional parks in the Salt Lake Valley. Near the I-15 interchange at 1300 East, the hotel is just seven miles from downtown and 15 minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport.
