Additional Expansion Plans for the Magic Valley Cinema 13 Include Adding Six New Theaters and VIP Services

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (March 7, 2018) – Woodbury Corporation, a full-service real estate management and development company, today announced plans to renovate and expand the Magic Valley Cinema 13 at the Magic Valley Mall, which will provide even more entertainment options for local movie goers.

The cornerstone for these plans is the addition of a brand-new large format auditorium. This will mark the first time a IMAX-like theater will open in the Twin Falls market. Additionally, the Magic Valley Cinema 13 expansion project includes plans to retrofit existing theaters with electric reclining seats, as well as adding six new screening rooms, each featuring VIP seats, as well as beer, wine and food services.

“Twin Falls is experiencing lots of positive changes and growth at the moment, and as the premier cinema in this burgeoning community, we know we need to keep pace with that change,” said Cinema West CEO Dave Corkill. “We appreciate the opportunity to continue to serve the Southern Idaho market and this new investment reflects that.”

“When it comes to movie theaters, it doesn’t get any bigger than this!” said Randy Woodbury, president of Woodbury Corporation. “To be able to introduce a concept of this caliber to the Twin Falls market is just another example of how attractive Magic Valley Mall is to retailers.”

Woodbury Corporation recently announced plans to bring two high-profile businesses to Magic Valley Mall, Hobby Lobby and Olive Garden. Hobby Lobby is the world’s largest privately-owned home décor and crafts retailer, operating over 800 stores across the nation. Hobby Lobby will be taking over the former Macy’s building on the west side of the mall. The Olive Garden, a casual dining restaurant chain specializing in Italian-American cuisine, is the world’s largest company-owned and operated full-service restaurant company. The restaurant will be located near the Locust Street entrance on Pole Line Road, right across from Magic Valley Cinema 13.
