Woodbury Corporation Employees Help Feed Hungry Utah Students
SALT LAKE CITY (February 13, 2016) – Woodbury Corporation employees donated over $34,000 dollars to the Souper Bowl of Caring to help feed hungry Utah students. The Souper Bowl of Caring is a nationwide fundraising effort to fight hunger, held in conjunction with the Super Bowl. There are more than 170,000 Utah students who qualify for free breakfast and lunch at school.
Woodbury Corporation teamed up with KUTV to raise the money. KUTV adopted the Souper Bowl of Caring as a station initiative in 2014 and is partnering with the Utah Food Bank and regional pantries as well as local schools, business churches and community groups to raise money to feed hungry students.
