Salt Lake City (June 14, 2017) – Woodbury Corporation, a full-service real estate development and management company, today announced that Josh Woodbury, its vice president of development and acquisitions, has been named the newest state director of the Utah chapter of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
ICSC serves the global retail real estate industry, by providing resources, connections and industry insights. With 70,000+ members, ICSC and its members actively work together to shape public policy to advocate and advance initiatives that benefit the retail real estate industry.
“We are delighted to welcome Josh as the ICSC Idaho, Utah and Montana State Director, and appreciate his ongoing commitment to our organization and our industry,” Margaret Wigglesworth, Executive Vice President of Member & Volunteer Services remarked.
ICSC’s Volunteer Leadership Program allows members to increase exposure and get involved within their local community to lead, provide insight and voice their opinions about initiatives that affect the retail real estate industry in their region. Mr. Woodbury will join a group of industry leaders to help them structure the Utah, Idaho and Montana regions and achieve local goals.
By serving in this role, Woodbury continues a long family tradition of service with the ICSC. Woodbury’s grandfather, Wallace R. Woodbury, was an early member in the organization and served as an ICSC trustee for more than 10 years.
“ICSC is a leading organization that promotes job and economic growth by advancing the interests of the shopping center industry,” said Woodbury. “The Woodbury family has a multi-generational history of serving volunteer positions for ICSC. I’m happy to continue a legacy of service and honored to be asked to fulfill this role.”
